Snowstorm: Feb. 6

Despite dire forecasts of up to a foot of snow overnight, we woke up this morning to something closer to 6 to 8 inches (happily, we live a few miles outside Ohio's so-called "Snow Belt," so most of the time, Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, we miss the worst of it. Still, our street was for a while nearly impassible this morning, as illustrated by the car that's stuck in the middle of the road. The city snowplow is in the background, finishing up a third pass to clear out enough snow that the car could get some traction. Just after this was taken, the driver did, in fact, make it out. Our own car, however, remains stuck in the driveway for the present (it looks a bit like the car in this photo that's parked in the driveway next door).
