Late this afternoon our friends Jerry and Barb picked us up and we headed to the Mastropietro Winery just outside Berlin Center, Ohio. On Thursdays and Sundays, guests are allowed to bring in picnic baskets. Our "picnic" fare was sandwiches from Subway and chips, but we picked our table on the outdoor patio, spread out, ordered a pitcher of fruit-filled sangria and enjoyed the company, food, wine and wonderful fresh air and sunshine. This unique "wine" fountain is just outside the entrance.
