The Butler Institute of American Art, founded in 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio, was the first museum in the world to focus exclusively on American Art. The Butler also operates two satellite facilities, one in Howland Township just a few miles from our home. Today's One-a-Day group entry is of one of the huge metal artworks that stand outside the museum building.
