I'm a state-certified Level II Volunteer Long-Term Care Ombudsman, and as such I visit the nursing home to which I'm assigned at least once a week. A favorite pasttime of many residents is working on jigsaw puzzles like this one they just started. When they're finished, they're "painted" with a glue-like substance to make them permanent. Many are then framed and hung on the walls.
