Today we stopped at Lowe's Home Improvement Store in a desperate attempt to find some colorful flowers. They were in very short supply -- the store's Valentine's Day flower shipments had for some reason been canceled, we were told -- but I found a few other interesting things. Most notable was this "illuminated" ice bucket for the outdoor patio. What self-respecting homeowner could possibly do without such a clever, useful invention?
