Faced with yet another snow-filled, gray-skies day here in northeastern Ohio, we decided early on not to try venturing far from home. But since we needed to mail a baby gift, we hopped in the car and drove the half-mile or so to the post office. I stayed in the car while Jack did the mailing honors, pulling out my camera and looking around to see if anything looked halfway interesting. It did not, at least till I started to put the camera away, looked down at my purse and had the "Aha" moment as I saw the two huge buckles on my purse. Why not? I asked myself. Why not indeed -- this is the result and my entry for today.
