Our son Scott, his wife Lilla and her mother Sheila visited with us most of today, and since they're former Londonites and tea lovers, I got out the teapot from my late mother's collection of Autumn Leaf dinnerware by the Hall China Co. of East Liverpool, Ohio. The pattern, originated in ther 1920s, became exclusive to The Jewel Tea Co. in 1933, and I remember the Jewel Tea driver stopping so my mother could shop and add pieces to her collection (ultimately a service for 12, most of which remains intact).
