Both of our kids, Scott and Chris, "graduated" from Garfield Elementary School (I won't tell how many years ago). Several years ago, the school was closed for economic and enrollment, or lack thereof, reasons. So far, thankfully, it's escaped the demolition ball -- I pass by it on my morning walks and it brings back lots of memories.
