Too hot to go anywhere today - around 4 p.m., our thermometer said 100 degrees outside - but we coaxed friends Jerry and Barb to come over for a while for pizza, a couple of beers and loads of laughter as we watched SNL: The Best of Commercial Parodies on our Netflix TV. Luckily for me, Barb reminded me on the way out the door that I still needed a photo for today, so I ran to the back yard and found this weed. It resembles Queen Anne's Lace, although it's much more a rounded ball so I have no idea what it is. Oh well. It works for me!
