Kitty Litter: Jan. 24
Since I was a child, I've had at least one cat (at one time when I was somewhere around junior high age, I counted 24 running around outside on our farm). But when the younger of our two children left the nest and took the resident cat with her, we didn't get a replacement. That makes me sad, but I do agree that having one would put a crimp in our travels and, as I've aged, my allergy to both cats and dogs has increased tenfold. So as a substitute, I collect cats of all kinds: ceramic, on teapots and lidded boxes, you name it. For today's photo (and for lack of anything better), I'm showing just a few of my colorful brood.
