Our first real outing since Jack got home from the Cleveland Clinic happened today, when he drove us first to the downtown harbor area of Ashtabula. After that, we stopped at the Old Firehouse Winery in nearby Geneva-on-the-Lake, where I got 6 bottles of my favorite sweet white Lighthouse Niagara and we sat on the outdoor patio to have lunch. The winery features a restored Ferris Wheel that offers great views of Lake Erie, so I made it my photo for today. We made a couple of other notable stops on the way home, but more on those later!
