Nowhere to go again today, but when I went outside to drag the empty trash can from the street to the house (carefully, since this is what Jack was doing when he slipped and fractured his ankle), I saw this forlorn-looking leaf lying in the pristine snow. Yes, I had the foresight to hang my camera under my fleecy jacket before heading out the door -- so the poor little leaf will be immortalized as my photo for the day!
