Since the temperature was "only" in the mid-80s, we decided to make a quick run to Mill Creek Park to see if the dahlias are blooming yet. There are a handful, but looks like it will be another couple of weeks before they really blossom. I got some beauties of the ones there, but then we spent a few minutes in the family garden next to the dahlias and found beautiful tiger lilies, black-eyed susans, zinnias and even a hummingbird moth! We didn't stay long, though - after about 20 minutes the temp had risen to almost 90 with beating-down sun. Back at home, I chose this one for today's photo of the day.
