This afternoon we went to the Poland Swim Club in Poland, Ohio, for a picnic hosted by the newspaper I write for. The weather wasn't very cooperative, with thunder threatening and making it impossible for the youngsters in our group to go swimming (disappointing, yes -- especially since the pool is fabulous -- but kudos to the staff for sticking to the safety rules). Had a wonderful time anyway, and I managed to get this for my photo of the day in between cloudy skies.
