As we look out the window not knowing whether we'll see a deluge of snow, or icy rain, or both, I decided whatever happens we can use a little comfort food. Today, it's in the form of a pot of chili - so today's photo of the day represents what will be in our stomachs shortly. I don't use a lot of chili powder since Jack can't stand the heat; I, on the other hand, augment mine with a packet or two of Wendy's wonderful hot sauce (I always ask for extras when I get their chili so I'll have some on hand for occasions just like this). For the record, it's smellin' wonderful right about now!
