Irish for a Day: March 17

St. Patrick's Day is my favorite "holiday" of the year, even though as far as I know I don't have an Irish bone in my body. My husband Jack, though, has plenty to spare as a descendant of relatives from the Ould Sod. That's a good enough reason for me to celebrate, and so far today, we've hit 3 pubs for green beer, regular beer and a lunch of corned beef and cabbage. At our second stop, Quinlan's Irish Pub, we enjoyed live Irish music by this group, the Forsythe Special, and the Rogues of Rafferty before we left for Gasoline Alley and then home to rest for a while before heading back to Gasoline Alley this evening with friends.
