Hands of Time: May 15

Yesterday as she drove us to the Cleveland Clinic to see Jack, our daughter Chris and I were reminiscing about the visits she and her brother made when they were young to see my parents in southwestern Ohio. One of the 4 homes they lived in my dad built virtually from the ground up himself, and my mom decorated a bedroom just for Chris in pink and white (Scott's was red and black). So, I made a pillow outlining their handprints in yarn to match each room (the year was 1973, but I won't tell you how old Chris was)! My mother kept both pillows through 2 subsequent moves, and when she died, I brought them to live with me and took a snapshot of this one for today's photo of the day.
