Took Jack to the outpatient clinic early this morning to have the hardware removed from his ankle only to find that his heart rate was an off-the-charts 150 instead of the 77 it had been in prelim tests Wednesday. Very long story short, and as we speak he's in the CCU at Trumbull Memorial Hospital awaiting a few more tests. The cardiologist has put him on meds to deal with the heart rate issue and he feels just fine, but we don't know anything more conclusive yet. Been looking since 6:30 this morning for a decent photo of the day entry and finally found it near the hospital entrance on the way out - a beautiful (albeit captured on the fly) Monsella Double tulip.
