My second photo of today is of the magnolia blooms on a tree we visit every year on Elm Road in Warren, Ohio. In fact, we use this tree as a bellwether of spring; once we see blooms start to open here, we know spring is on the way. Jack wanted to double-check the location of the surgery center where he'll have the hardware removed from his ankle on May 6 (also on Elm Road), so we took the opportunity to take a peek at "our" tree.
