Unbelievably, July will be gone tomorrow, and since it's been a week since we checked the dahlia garden at Mill Creek Park, we decided to see how things are going. For now, the answer is not very well; there are few full-blown blooms - none of them anywhere near as spectacular as in past years - and far fewer buds than I expected. Still, I managed to get a couple of halfway decent photos, including this for my photo of the day.
