Our son-in-law Jerry was kind enough to string a long line between a couple of trees for me to hang laundry on a few days ago, but except for a very small load I haven't used it yet. Today, I had to hang out quite a few things and realized if I'd had one more item, I'd have needed more clothespins. So, I dutifully grabbed a handful from the basement and, being too lazy to walk back to the clothesline, dumped them on a deck table. Needless to say, the rains came down (we could get some nasty storms, I fear), and the brand-spanking new clothespins got quite a soaking! Oh well, they'll have to settle for being a wet photo of the day.
