Had to get a routine blood test this morning that required prior 12-hour fasting. Needless to say, by the time it was over around 9:30 a.m., I would have been tempted to trade our first-born son for coffee (which, ever thinking ahead, I'd stashed two thermos containers of in the car). Now fortified with java and drained of 3 vials of blood, though, I suddenly became ravenously hungry and insisted that Jack pull into our McDonald's for an Egg McMuffin with sausage. That, in turn, led to parking next to a neat wood fence with its tiny green captive - so out came my camera to capture today's photo of the day!
