The sun was supposed to shine by early this afternoon, but it's just now starting to hint at showing its face. Tired of waiting, we headed for Mill Creek Park anyway and were rewarded by finding the blue heron at the Lily Pond. He hung around for quite a while and tolerated us humans very well, but he got a bit snippy when the geese got a bit too close for comfort. I figured the whole crew would work find for today's photo of the day.
