Kudos to the restaurants - notably Ruby Tuesday, Applebee's and Steak 'n' Shake - that offer substantial birthday deals to loyalty cardholders that allow extra time beyond the actual birthday to be redeemed. Today I had a delicious burger at Ruby Tuesday for free. My main treat is at Up A Creek Tavern in Howland - they give an entire entree - but you have to go on the actual day (I did, and yum). Also got in a morning walk today, where I found my favorite tree with buds on it!
