Wrendering: June 17
For weeks now, we've been watching mom and dad wren fly in and out of the OSU birdhouse that hangs on a post on our deck. Recently, we started watching extra-closely, thinking it was about time the babies in the nest would fledge. This morning, it happened; we saw four (and there may have been a fifth) pop out, land on the deck and try their wings. When I left, one little guy was still hiding out under the grill (at right).
