Headed up north to Ashtabula on this sunny, warm day - our first "big" outing in quite a while. Started at Lakeview Park in Ashtabula (this photo), then on to Ashtabula Harbor and the Bascule lift bridge. From there, it was to Geneva-on-the-Lake and the Old Firehouse Winery (the ferris wheel). Two wineries followed: Ferrante, where we picked up some of the delicious fruit wines, and then South River Winery just for the scenery. Enjoyed a late lunch at the Lake Tavern in Mecca on the way home. Great day!
