The rest of the meal was a near disaster, but I'm always happy to find interesting light photos. This was above our table at Denny's in Austintown, where we'd gone to use a BOGO coupon from the Entertainment Book. Not to be; this is not, we were told, one of the "participating" locations. So, we ordered from the 55+ breakfast menu - prices were good and the servers were very friendly. The food, however, left a lot to be desired. Jack had to send back his diet Coke because the inside of the glass was filthy with some sort of crusty stuff. The bacon bits in my omelet were tasty, but nearly crack-a-tooth crispy. And if they didn't finish the job, the super-crunchy, burned in spots English muffin would have done the trick. Many, many years ago, we were fairly frequent Denny's customers. What went wrong???
