I've checked the "buds" on the cactus plants out near our mailbox often over the past month, but everything looked dead and I was afraid the harsh winter finally did them in. But as we returned home yesterday afternoon, I spotted yellow - and made Jack stop the car in the driveway so I could hop out and get some photos. They're baaaack!
