Still about 40 degrees outside today with a fair amount of snow left. By this time tomorrow, though, it may be hovering close to zero - the coldest few days we've had here in close to 20 years. Jack ran out to get a few last-minute necessities just in case, but we're sure not planning on venturing out much over the next 3 days or so! To that end, today's photo is something of a joke: Jack pitched some stale buns and refrigerator leftovers in the back yard for the birds and squirrels, and a bun (complete with green pepper) got impaled on the smoke bush next to the deck. Ah, the lengths to which we'll go to get a photo!
