After a routine doctor's visit late this morning (we're both doing A-OK), we stopped at Eastwood Mall so I could get my glasses adjusted at Lenscrafters - they've been falling off my sweaty face in the heat and one of the pads was digging a hole in my nose). On the way in, I took this of the just-opened Residence Inn that's at the mall. Glasses are A-OK now as well.


For the record, I'm now pretty much convinced that although I inherited high cholesterol from my late father, his long-time battle with high blood pressure and diabetes won't be in my own future. My BP was 123/78 today - not bad for 73 and 20 pounds overweight!
