Learning in today's Tribune Chronicle that razing has begun on the long-empty GE Building (Niles Glass Works) in downtown Niles, as soon as I could get a break from work, we headed into town to get a few photos. Knock-down of the plant, which I believe was built around 1910, is taking place first along Federal Street across from McKinley High School so the sun was in the wrong place, but I'll take it for today's photo.
