Of the thousands of photos I've taken over the years, I managed to get two decent bee shots - and one of those isn't all that great. Today, trying to get in a visit to Mill Creek Park before nasty weather hits, the bees (especially huge bumblebees) were collecting pollen like crazy. They were heavy and sluggish, so I took a deep breath, set my camera on super-macro and got in very close. I'm thrilled!
