Think Positive: Jan. 7
It's after 11 a.m., and the outdoor thermometer still hasn't pushed to zero, which is where it's expected to be the "high" for today. Last night, just as it reached -9 outside, the power went out in several area communities including ours. Happily, FirstEnergy workers got it repaired after about 3 hours, but that was enough time for the temperature inside the house to drop from 72 to 57. Brrrr!
