Take-Off: Jan. 4

The sun came out for a bit - and it's in the mid-50s (the calm before a 40-degree drop tonight), so we headed out through the surrounding wilds for a little drive. Just as we crossed the causeway bridge over Meander Reservoir, Jack spotted what appeared to be an eagle circling low. When we saw him zoom in for a landing, Jack stopped and we grabbed our cameras. We were too far away to get anything decent (handheld and a limited zoom range), but I got one just as he started to fly away. The photo to the right is just a country scene against the gorgeous sky.
