Valentine's Day notwithstanding, the weather outside is frightful: nearly a whiteout of falling snow, and the temperature will take a nosedive to what is expected to be the lowest so far this year (below zero in many places). Took this from our living room window - we stashed in a bottle of champagne earlier in the week and don't plan on celebrating anywhere but here inside our cozy, warm house!
