Need to update my Mill Creek Park blog, so despite a gloomy day we stopped at the visitor center (also wanted to see the refurbished Garden Cafe, which officially opened March 17). Didn't find a whole lot of color (actually none at all except for the orchids and amaryllis inside the center), but I did see loads of buds on the Betty Magnolia tree near the front entrance. Today's the official first day of spring, so I'll take this as a very positive sign!
