It's New Year's Day, and that means taking down all the holiday decorations and the start of another year. De-decorating is finished (and the Crockpot of kielbasa and kraut is just about ready). The tree is gone from the bay window, but two holiday items will remain for as long as they stay in bloom: Two beautiful red poinsettias we bought from granddaughter Jackie's school sale.
