Quick trip to Mill Creek MetroParks on this beautiful July 4 - totally shocked at the condition of the rose garden (if I took 10 photos there, I'd be surprised - usually this time of year I'd be taking closer to a hundred). The day lilies behind the Victorian Gazebo are quite nice, and there are a couple of decent early dahlias in bloom. I picked this pink one (figuratively, of course) for today's photo.

I'll also apologize for the lack of an entry for yesterday, but I wasn't able to get out for a morning walk. Then, I spent 3-1/2 hours or so in the dentist's chair while he made a new crown to replace an older one that had broken off and crumbled. I'm not afraid of going to the dentist, but to say it was a stressful time would be an understatement. But at least now I can eat something besides mashed potatoes and mac-and-cheese on that side of my mouth!
