We invited friends Jerry and Barb over for dinner tonight - linguine with roasted red pepper-clam sauce, bread with dipping oil, a squash-onion-peppers-mushroom-garlic sauteed mix and turtle cake for dessert. Pre-dinner drinks were my concoction that I call a Screwy Naval: vodka, triple sec and peach Schnappes with OJ garnished with fresh peach chunks. With dinner came Lambrusco, and after dinner - should anyone have room - dark roast coffee with amaretto and whipped cream accompanied by chocolate-nut biscotti. Yum!
