For a while now, we've thought there's a robins' nest in the pine tree next to our front door (it's right outside the window my computer is in, and I often see robins flying in and out). Well, it's been confirmed; while I was on the computer, I saw a half-grown "baby" bird on the top branch, mouth wide open. This and the photo at right are awful, but I had no choice but to shoot through a screen. It's since fallen (or flapped) to the ground and seems to be making an effort to fly. Hopefully it will be okay!
