Another gorgeous day, so we drove to Lake Milton State Park by way of country roads. When we were in Ashtabula County yesterday (the next county north of us), we noticed that much of the corn in the fields wasn't much taller than a foot at most. Contrast that with the lush fields we saw today in Trumbull and Mahoning counties, like this one we stopped to photograph. At that rate, they'll have the cornpickers revved up in Ashtabula County along about Christmas!
