Went to the visitor center at Mill Creek Park late this morning to see the orchid exhibit. I'm lousy at taking photos of orchids, although I did manage to get one or two that are halfway decent. Then we made a quick stop at the Lily Pond, where this very large Canada goose marched right up to me. I thought perhaps he was planning to charge, but no -- it was more like he wanted to beg for food. I'm pretty sure he'd have taken it right from my hand had I let him - he got that close (and followed me wherever I walked).
