On this beautiful sunny day, we headed north to Lake Erie, starting at the historic Ashtabula Harbor. In its heyday, it was one of the busiest ports on the Great Lakes. We got here just as a huge freighter was entering the harbor (very, very slowly). One of the folks watching the show said it is one of the largest freighters on the Great Lakes today.
