Upton House: Jan. 9

For quite some time I've been trying to get a halfway decent photo of the historic Harriet Taylor Upton House in Warren, Ohio - and this is the best I've done so far (jazzed up a bit in DynamicPhoto, BTW). The house was the temporary center of the National American Woman Suffrage Association in 1903. Harriet Taylor, who married Atty. George Upton, was dedicated to the suffrage movement, most notably helping her mentor Susan B. Anthony with trying to pass the 19th Amendment and give women the right to vote. Her house was awarded National Historic Landmark status in 1993.
