Not a good photo by any means, but finding this magnolia flower literally stopped me in my morning walk tracks. It's on a very big neighborhood tree - one on which every single bud turned brown with the overnight freezes a week or two ago. I checked closely, and this is the only flower amid an entire sea of brown. I'll take it as a sign we should all hang in there!
