The Niles, Ohio, Hometown Heroes project honors home-grown veterans and military personnel with banners throughout the downtown area starting this year. The flags will be displayed from Memorial Day through Veterans Day each year. This one is the father of our friend Dick Bullock, a former McKinley High School teacher and guidance counselor. Each flag shows a photo of the honoree, military branch and flag sponsor.
