We've probably been inside a restaurant 6 times since the initial pandemic lockdown, but I guess an anniversary (our 59th) is worth taking a bit of a chance. Still, we went at a relatively off-hour - to Margarita's Grille in Girard (a favorite). And we splurged, starting with Tai Calamari (at right, also a favorite). We both had the Seafood Medley; he got the regular lobster sauce. That's too rich for me, so I asked for it with Alfredo sauce instead. Silly me - must have been two sticks of butter in there. But boy, it sure was delicious! Also splurged on a glass of Moscato and another of Riesling for me - nothing for
Jack since he was driving. Now we have a whole bottle of raspberry Lambrusco to polish off here at home (and a ton of leftovers). Many thanks to Christopher for the excellent service at Margarita's, BTW!
