The weather we've been having has been truly awful; many days we have drenching rains, often accompanied by high temperatures. On the other days, the temp has been reaching as high as 90 degrees - and all of them make it impossible to get out for walks. Today, the rain was supposed to hold off till mid-afternoon, so I chanced it getting too hot and off I went. Luckily, I went when I did; not long after that, the downpour started. At least I found a few blooms still on the Rose of Sharon bush I passed.
