Tonight was the formal reception honoring the wedding of our granddaughter Jacklyn Rose and Ryan Raketa. The COVID-19 pandemic meant the original wedding and reception a year ago had to be postponed. Last summer, they got married in an informal backyard ceremony but planned to hold the reception sometime later. Everyone crossed their fingers that the pandemic wouldn't shut it down again, but it went off perfectly.
