Finally - a ripe tomato on one of the two plants our neighbor gave us earlier in the summer! There are half a dozen or so there and one other tomato that may be ready to pick in a day or two, but the rest are still very green and very tiny. We shall share this little baby for lunch tomorrow.

For the record, I haven't been posting photos for a few days since I went to the dentist day before yesterday to start the process of a dental implant. That went fine, but the pain pill (hydrocodone) and an antibiotic did not. I didn't need the pain pill, but I've never taken an opioid and wanted to see how it felt. Well, I found out. The next day, I tried one more antibiotic and got queasy all over again. Today is the first day I've felt halfway decent since then.
